We are still dancing. Today it is pigs dancing. This was the other Christmas card image that my parents disliked. This time it was most of all my mother that found them unsuitable for Christmas cards. Normally my mother is my biggest fan and loves everything I paint. But I think that pigs belong to Christmas. In my family we, in my early childhood, had roast pork with crackling and sugarcoated potatoes on Christmas Eve. We always celebrated Christmas Eve at home, but when we were invites out for dinner on other nights, it happened that my mother was asked to come to the kitchen to do the gravy and the sugarcoated potatoes.

Fakta / Facts

1

All watercolours are painted on Bockingford paper 300g cold pressed with Maimeri watercolours. My 7 bacis colours will do, but I must admit, that I had my brush in other funny colours too. My basic colours are: Cobalt Blue Light, Raw Umbre, Ultramarine Deep, Burnt Sienna, Magenta, Primary Yellow og Yellow Orchre.

The black baggroundis a thick mix from  Burnt Sienna and Ultramarine. Don´t worry if it don´t turn out nice the first time. Practice can be needed.
